New School Year September 2009

Our school year has started and we are grateful to the lord for his faithfulness in returning the students to our school safely.

Important Dates have been changed in the school calendar and you will be informed in a timely way should there be a change. Please note the following

Departure of Sister Damien and Sister Maureen: We regret to announce the departure of the sisters after several years of service to our school community. They Leave for kingston in the coming week. We will miss them both.

Prayer Service: The first for the year will be held on Sunday, september 14, 2008 at 4:30 p.m. Please attend since this is critical to the success of our school.

Special safety Measures: In order to ensure safety of our students we wish to implement the following measures.

During rainy days Parents will not be allowed to drive up ( except under exceptionally adverse weather conditions)to the cafeteria, instead we are asking them to take umbrellas or supply their children with one so they can walk to their transport or parents can pick them up from their classrooms.

As of Monday September 8, no vehicles will be allowed to pass the barrier before 8.45 a.m.

Prompt picking up after school dismissal is desired. After 45 minutes following dismissal the students will be placed under the supervision of a teacher at a cost to the parent/guardian of $200/hour or part thereof. They will be supervised in homework activities. They will be monitored in the classroom of the teacher on duty.

Cell Phones: We have a zero Tolerance for students possessing cell phones in the school campus.If found they will be confiscated for 4 weeks. Please use school phones 961 2081 ans 961 1576 to keep in touch with your children.
